WorkWell Nebraska offers a comprehensive on-line wellness portal designed to simplify your world with a one-stop shop approach. Portal features include: a mobile app, company landing page with CEO and Wellness & Safety Team messaging, multilingual options, electronic physical activity tracking capabilities (wearables), individual and team competitions, well-being challenges, a comprehensive educational library and videos, nutritious recipes, exercise videos, and so much more.
Personalized lifestyle programs available to you and your team include: HealthyLife Weigh, SleepWell, THRIVE, StressWell and QuitWell.
Lunch and Learn presentations and On-The-Go events are also available. Select the interventional program and format that works best for your associates.
WorkWell Nebraska takes care of all your annual health screening and health data collection details. Our team will schedule an initial planning meeting with you and members of your Wellness Committee several months in advance to review your health screening needs, secure screening dates, lab services, biometrics, and help answer key questions.
We will provide you with promotional fliers, event registration options, outline staffing needs for on-site screenings and also offer your associates a personalized physician option.
Health Risk Assessments and Employee Interest Surveys are also available upon request.
What a great way to personalize your wellness program. Individuals meet one-on-one with a wellness expert to help prioritize and address their well-being needs. WorkWell Nebraska offers a wide variety of health coaching options including medically-based health coaching sessions, nicotine cessation, weight management, stress and sleep management, personal fitness programs, and speed coaching where individuals can drop by with a quick question about their eating habits, fitness program or how to manage their stress.
Our certified health coaches will help establish wellness goals, identify personal triggers, brainstorm solutions and action steps and celebrate your successes.
Coaching appointments are offered on-site, virtually or by telephone.
Power of Prevention classes offer multi-week concentrated support and guidance for individuals at greater risk of developing
pre-diabetes, high blood pressure, metabolic syndrome, heart disease, cancer, diabetes and so much more. Individuals learn more about their personal health an dwell-being and strategies on how to minimize their personal health risks.
Breaking old habits can be hard! Our wellness experts help you better understand the "why" behind some the daily choices you make. By tracking your day-to-day routine you can begin to unfold news ways to eat healthier, move more, reduce stress, boost energy and improve sleep. Program facilitators will help you become more mindful and identify key behavioral theories to help you be successful in reaching your wellness goals.
The Break the Habit Nicotine Cessation series is designed to meet individuals where they are. Program content caters to individuals who smoke, chew, vape and/or use nicotine in social gatherings. Individuals learn more about the physical and psychological impact of nicotine use, daily nicotine habits, personal triggers, stress management, how to manage nicotine withdrawal symptoms and maintain successes.
When employers are expertly equipped, businesses can integrate effective workplace health, safety, and wellness promotion for their employees, experience happier and healthier employees, increased production, higher retention rates and fewer medical and work comp claims. The Worker 360 training will provide guidance and support to access, develop and implement effective workplace safety and health policies and procedures, educational programs and services that reduce risk of injury at work and boost personal health.
Companies and communities worldwide are adopting an orientation toward improving well-being as a means to improve quality of life and longevity, optimize functioning and productivity, and manage population health. In the past, worksite wellness and environmental safety have operated separately in the workplace. Total Worker Well-Being initiatives focus on blending both worksite wellness and environmental safety into one effective effort to build a healthier, and safer work environment.

Communities with limited access to healthcare and emergency services, mental health practitioners, dental care, internet access and limited educational health and safety resources. WorkWell Nebraska offers a multi-week Agriculture Community Outreach program called Cultivating Communities in an effort to help increase access to health and safety resources and training opportunities for local residents. QPR trainings are also available for Nebraska's rural communities in an effort to address a growing need for mental health services and reduce suicide attempts.
Mental health is a personal issue, a family issue, a work issue, and a society issue. This is why mental health should be part of the wellness and safety conversation.
Our wellness team provides customized presentations to help your associates manage anxiety, stress, personal triggers and identify strategies to break through challenging situations. We use evidence-based techniques to help you create work-life balance. Schedule quarterly on-site relaxation sessions, establish an on-site restoration room, host an Emotional-Wellbeing In the Workplace presentation.
1 in 6 individuals in the U.S. have a substance use disorder. Recovery Friendly Workplaces reap the benefits of increased worker well-being, decreased turnover, increased productivity, and/or lower healthcare costs.
Employers' motivation to implement recovery friendly workplaces may be driven by the following; (1) to avoid losing a valuable employee due to a zero drug policy, (2) having an experience with someone who has struggled with addiction or overdose, and/or (3) an intrinsic desire to positively impact the lives of others. Schedule a time to learn more about this new worksite well-being initiative.
